Join the Citizens for Sustainable Marina, the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District, Everyone's Harvest, Return of the Natives, and more for a fun day of service and Earth Day Celebration!
Park beautification projects will take place between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and include native plant restoration, bench and sign cleaning and painting, trail maintenance, and park clean up. Afterwards, fun family booths will provide interactive and educational information promoting healthy living and environmental awareness, with craft activities, live music, and freebies until 1pm. Free lunch for volunteers!
Locke-Paddon Park is located just off Reservation Road (from Highway 1), adjacent to the Marina Library. Families and community groups welcome. Supervision and tools provided. Wear layers, sunscreen, hat, work clothes, and bring your water bottle.
