Madison 34th Annual Independence Day Parade, Madison CT

Madison's parade theme this year is "America Yesterday, Today, and Forever". Please make kid-friendly signs regarding the beauty of an America where labels let everyone know what is really in their food! We'll gather in the Stop and Shop parking lot at 9:30 a.m. to meet, greet, and line up for our march. While we have labeling laws in Connecticut, the rest of the nation still deserves to know what's in their food. Let's get the word out together!

We have confirmed our space for this parade. Please consider making some respectful signs bearing kid-friendly messages! The theme for this parade is “America yesterday, Today, and Forever”, so if I may, I would suggest focusing on a future with GMOs label so that Americans can choose what they eat! Once we get some technical difficulties worked out with this site, I’ll update the page and get things shared around on facebook, etc. Can’t wait to see you all on the 4th!

I will be flying into CT for the holiday week and I would like to be part of the march. Please tell me what I need to do/know. Do I need to make a poster? Are they supplied? Any other information will be appreciated.Thank you!
