Tumwater, WA Independence Parade (Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater)

Parade begins at 11:00am, but we have to check in between 8:30-9:30am at the check-in station at the corner of Linderson Way SW & Dennis St. (near 6599 Linderson Way SW, 98501)

DIRECTIONS: Use freeway exits 101 (Tumwater Blvd) or 102 (Trosper Road) ONLY.
Exit 101: Turn east on Tumwater Blvd; travel .4 miles and turn left on Linderson Way; follow signs to check-in.
Exit 102: Turn east on Trosper Road; travel .3 miles and turn right on Capitol Blvd (at signal); travel 1 mile south on Capitol Blvd; turn right on Israel Road; follow signs to check-in.

Parade Route: The parade route starts at the corner of Capitol Boulevard and Lee Street. The parade moves south on Capitol Boulevard to Israel Road, then it turns west (right) onto Israel Road and continues past City Hall, ending up at Linderson Way/Israel Road Intersection.

If anyone wants to come up and join the Port Orchard Fathoms O' Fun parade entry on the 28th of June for a preview of what the 4th will be like, please do. Last year Jennie BGreen joined us and made it really a terrific time. We were small but mighty. We had a mom chase us down for the flyer with one child in a stroller and one by the hand. :) I scoured the parade route afterward looking for any of our flyers, I found lots or other ones, but not one of ours. :)
