Dear Parade Participant:

Thank you for informing us that you will join us on at the 2013 4th of July Parade!

We ask that all groups be in the lineup area before 9:00 AM. Each group is assigned a number indicating it’s their place in the lineup and a position for formation. Your unit number is shown on the attached list and diagram. Parade aides will be on hand to help you find your lineup position.

You must not leave the Parade along the parade route. Busses should park in the parking lot, east side of Biddle Avenue, just past Portofino’s Restaurant on Biddle Avenue at the BASF Waterfront Park and Wyandotte Shores Golf Course. Port-a-johns will be on the corner of Ford (Northline) and Biddle Avenue and at the corner of James DeSana Drive and Biddle Avenue. Please see the attached map for location.

Groups planning to pass out items to children along the parade route should take special note:

• Items MUST be passed out at curbside only. For the safety of the children, we do not want them running into the oncoming vehicles.

We ask that adults in each group watch that spacing is kept in front and behind your unit. Parade announcing will be done at the corner of Maple and Biddle (in front of City Hall); a forward movement should be observed. If we give each unit one minute for announcing purposes, the parade will be one hour and forty minutes. The parade starts at 10 AM and by 11:45 AM most of the crowd will start to leave due to bathroom needs, lunch (hunger/thirst) or weather.

We need to raise $120 to get the banner and all the other goodies! Does anyons buisness donate to things like this, do you! At this point any amt helps. Dont donate on.the donate button it goes direct to maa. This needs to be a team effort. If we cant get enough we can just do the flyers for $50 its another $50 if we just want to add banner so $120 is cheep for.all u get in.their.pack . Sorry for all the typos and . My phone is acting up.
