Follow these five steps to launch a Moms Across America chapter in your community.
Connect with MAA Headquarters
Reach out to our team at info@momsacrossamerica.org to let us know you're interested in starting a local group. We'll provide you with a welcome kit, connect you with your regional coordinator, and add you to our leader network.
Find Local Moms
Start spreading the word through your existing networks — school parent groups, churches, neighborhood associations, local Facebook groups, and social media. You only need 3-5 committed moms to get started.
Host Your First Meeting
Pick a comfortable, accessible location — your living room, a library meeting room, a church hall, or a local park. Keep it casual and welcoming. Share your personal story, introduce the MAA mission, and let everyone share why they're there.
Plan Regular Activities
Build momentum with consistent activities: set up a table at your local farmers market, attend school board meetings together, organize community education events, host movie screenings, or coordinate letter-writing campaigns.
Stay Connected with National Campaigns
Join our weekly Moms Connect Calls, participate in national campaigns and marches, share testing results from your community, and collaborate with other local groups across the country.

Start Small
You don't need a huge group to make an impact. Even 3-5 dedicated moms can accomplish incredible things. Focus on building a strong core before expanding.
Be Welcoming
Create a safe, non-judgmental space where all moms feel welcome — regardless of where they are on their health journey. Meet people where they are.
Focus on Solutions, Not Fear
While it's important to share the facts, lead with hope and actionable steps. Empower people with what they can do, not just what's wrong.
Partner with Local Organizations
Collaborate with farmers markets, health food stores, naturopaths, local farms, schools, and other community organizations to amplify your reach.
Celebrate Every Win
Whether it's getting one school to serve organic milk or collecting 50 petition signatures, every step forward matters. Recognize and share your victories.
Stay Connected Nationally
Join the weekly Moms Connect Calls, attend the annual march, and connect with other local leaders. You're part of a nationwide community.
