The Moms Across America Gold Standard was created to cut through the noise. Our tiered verification system goes beyond existing certifications to give families a clear, science-backed indicator of product safety and corporate transparency.

3 Gold Stars
Foundation Level
- ✓Full ingredient transparency — every ingredient publicly listed
- ✓USDA Organic certification for all applicable products
- ✓Glyphosate residue testing with results below detectable limits
4 Gold Stars
Advanced Level
- ✓All 3 Gold Star requirements, plus:
- ✓Non-GMO Project Verification for all products
- ✓Heavy metal testing at 2x the standard (lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury)
- ✓Pesticide residue panel testing at 2x organic certification standards
5 Gold Stars
Exemplary Level
- ✓All 4 Gold Star requirements, plus:
- ✓Fair Trade certification for applicable supply chains
- ✓Low-pollution and sustainable packaging commitments
- ✓Active support for regenerative organic agriculture practices
How to Apply
Brands committed to transparency and safety are invited to apply for Gold Standard verification. Here’s how the process works.
Submit Your Application
Complete the online application form with your full ingredient lists, certifications, and testing history. There is no application fee.
Independent Review
Our review committee evaluates your documentation, verifies certifications, and may request third-party lab testing of your products.
Testing & Verification
Products undergo independent testing for glyphosate, pesticides, and heavy metals through accredited laboratories selected by MAA.
Tier Assignment & Listing
Approved brands receive their star rating and are listed in the MAA Gold Standard directory, reaching millions of health-conscious families.
