The Problem: Glyphosate Destroys Living Soil

Bayer (which acquired Monsanto in 2018) now markets itself as a leader in “regenerative agriculture.” Their sustainability reports tout cover cropping, reduced tillage, and “carbon-smart” farming — while continuing to sell billions of dollars of glyphosate-based herbicides worldwide.
This is classic greenwashing. You cannot regenerate soil while simultaneously applying the chemical that destroys its biological foundation. True regenerative agriculture eliminates synthetic herbicides, builds organic matter, and restores the microbial communities that make soil alive.
