Wireless Radiation & Your Family

Over 10,000 peer-reviewed studies document the health impacts of microwave radiation. Here's what every parent needs to know — and what you can do about it.

The Science Is Clear

For over a century, researchers have documented the biological effects of radio frequency (RF) and microwave radiation on living organisms.

A Century of Evidence

In 1906, Guglielmo Marconi conducted a radio frequency study on an island where 90% of the bees died. Over a hundred years later, the evidence has only grown stronger.

Modern studies show devastating effects on wildlife: birds exposed to cell tower radiation showed reproductive failure rates skyrocketing from 3.2% to 40%. Frog mortality near cell towers increased from 40% to 90% after exposure.

Human reproduction is also affected. Studies document that sperm viability has declined dramatically in men exposed to cell phone radiation, with reduced motility and increased DNA fragmentation.

Who Is Being Affected?

The impacts of wireless radiation extend across every level of the natural world — from pollinators to our children.

Wildlife & Ecosystems

Bees, birds, frogs, and other wildlife show severe reproductive failure, disorientation, and mortality when exposed to RF radiation. Pollinators are especially vulnerable.

Children & Schools

Children absorb more radiation than adults due to thinner skulls and developing nervous systems. Many schools have installed Wi-Fi routers in every classroom with no safety testing.

Electromagnetic Sensitivity

An estimated 59 million people worldwide experience headaches, fatigue, insomnia, heart palpitations, and cognitive difficulties from wireless radiation exposure.

5G Small Cells

Dense 4G/5G "small cell" facilities are being deployed just 12–30 feet from homes, schools, and playgrounds — without consent or adequate safety testing.

Your 8-Point Action Plan

You don't have to accept unsafe wireless infrastructure in your community. Here are eight concrete steps you can take today.

1

Get Hard-Wired Internet

Replace Wi-Fi with ethernet cables throughout your home. Use wired keyboards, mice, and headsets. Turn off Wi-Fi routers at night at minimum.

2

Join or Start a Local Stop 5G Group

Connect with your community. There are groups in nearly every state organizing against unsafe wireless infrastructure deployment.

3

Research Local Ordinances

Find out what ordinances exist in your city or county regarding cell tower and small cell placement. Many communities have none — which means you can help create them.

4

Create Petitions

Gather signatures from concerned residents. Petitions demonstrate community opposition and put elected officials on notice.

5

Distribute Letters to Neighbors

Many people don't know about the health risks. Informational letters with cited studies can help neighbors understand what's being installed near their homes.

6

Attend Public Hearings

Show up at city council and planning commission meetings. Public comment is your right — use it. Bring studies, bring neighbors, bring your story.

7

Follow Up with City Staff

Don't let your concerns disappear into the bureaucracy. Follow up in writing with city staff and request formal responses to your questions.

8

Request EMF Insurance Requirements

Ask your local government to require telecom companies to carry EMF liability insurance. Most insurers won't cover it — which says everything.

Low EMF Home Checklist

Simple changes you can make today to reduce your family's exposure to electromagnetic fields.

  • Checklist itemReplace Wi-Fi with wired ethernet connections
  • Checklist itemUse speakerphone or air-tube headsets instead of holding phone to head
  • Checklist itemKeep phones and tablets out of bedrooms at night
  • Checklist itemTurn off Bluetooth when not in use
  • Checklist itemOpt out of smart meters — request an analog meter from your utility
  • Checklist itemUse battery-powered alarm clocks instead of phone alarms
  • Checklist itemAvoid baby monitors that use Wi-Fi or DECT technology
  • Checklist itemKeep laptops off your lap — use a desk or table
  • Checklist itemMeasure your home with an EMF meter to identify hotspots
  • Checklist itemRequest wired internet options at your child's school
