Port Angeles 4th of July Celebration and Parade

All MAAM members in the Port Angeles area are welcome to join the GAG group. This is a very active local group.

This is the information you’ve been waiting for!

We are #31 in parade, 65 entries total. Estimated 20-30 mins of actual parade time start to finish. Not very long, really.

Must be at courthouse 4th & Peabody at 5:15pm to line up. Those that want to can meet the bus at 4:30 by Goodwill (Lincoln and 6th) to prep bus and leave cars there.

Bus can transport us to courthouse or we can walk. And bus can transport back to Goodwill after parade.

Come ready to wave, sing, promote GMO Awareness and 522—-AND MOST OF ALL, YOUR AMERICAN PRIDE!!!

Come join us July 4th as we walk the parade route, sharing information about GMOs and I-522! We will hold signs, pass on information cards, smile and wave at the crowd. A very cool, painted reformed school bus will accompany us. Our GAG banner will precede our entry. Here are the details:

• Parade begins at 6pm.

• Staging area Clallam County Courthouse 4th St & Peabody St, enter from Peabody only, time based on position (5pm-5:45pm) we will know the exact time a few days before the parade.

• Only participants and parade vehicle can be at this location.

• Non-parade vehicles must park in Vern Burton Gym parking lot, south side, in front of City Hall on 5th St.

• Route will be West on 4th to Lincoln, North on Lincoln to First, West on First to Valley, South to 3rd or 4th before disbanding. (about 11 blocks)

• Animals are welcome but you must provide clean-up as needed.

• No alcoholic beverages in area or parade.

53 Yes on I522 t-shirts were purchased! We will have limited supplies of a few additional shirts (5-L and5-XL), that can be purchased for $20.

Hey there! After going through the list of parades, we have noticed that there are marchers, but no leader. We were wondering if there was any way someone could step up and become the leader so it is possible to march during the Fourth of July parade.
