We welcome everyone to join the Moms Across America March as part of the the July 4th Garden Valley Parade. We especially need moms, babies, and kids. We need baby buggies. We need men for the kazoo band. We have a banner; we need signs, flags. Costumes on the theme of healthy food would be great.
We will be having another kazoo band practice Thur July 3 at 7pm at the Marshall Grange. We will practice some simple songs. If you can hum, you can kazoo. We will provide kazoos.
Everyone is welcome to join us July 4th. You can be in the kazoo band or just march with us. You can participate even if you were not able to attend the kazoo practice. Meet at the Garden Valley firehouse at 9am. Bring a hat, sunscreen and water.
We will have a booth at the Garden Valley Park after the parade.

We will have a leading banner, and everyone is welcome to join us, not just moms, but men and kids too. We will have a kazoo band. If you can hum a tune, you can kazoo and we will provide kazoos. If you have a kazoo T-shirt from last year, bring it. Kids in baby buggies or in wagons would be good. Bring flags. Costumes on the theme of food would be great. We will be placed next to the Mountain Kids Co-op Preschool group, so that will include more moms and kids.
The kazoo band will have a rehearsal at the Marshall Grange Wed June 25 at 7pm. We will practice some easy songs. If you would like to sing instead of kazoo, you are welcome too.
On Friday July 4, meet at the Garden Valley Firehouse, corner of Marshall Road and Greenwood Road at 9:15 am. Wear comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Carry water.
We will have a booth at the Garden Valley Park after the parade. We will provide free lemonade and brochures on healthy food and GMOs.
Please email me if you are coming, and if you can help with the booth. Last-minute marchers and kazoos are welcome, just show up July 4.
The founder of Moms Across America, Zen Honeycutt, will be interviewed on my radio program Home on the Grange, this Sunday June 22 at 6pm on KFOK – FM, 95.1 or streaming on the web at kfok.org. If you miss the program, you can download it at:
