Spread the Word on GMOS in the Schaumburg Labor Day

Spread the Word on GMOS in the Schaumburg Labor Day

This is a combined event with Moms Across America and Illinois Right to Know GMO. We will be marching with signs and banners to educate people about GMOs and to save the bees. What a great way to spread the word about GMOs and to reach SO many people.
Bring the kids, family, friends and neighbors - for a wonderful and worthwhile time.
Bikes, wagons or strollers are welcome.
And after the parade enjoy the Septemberfest - with 250 exhibitors in their arts and crafts fair, the Taste of Schaumburg on Saturday and Sunday and non-profit groups serving food on Monday.  There is bingo and concerts on 3 stages.
Honeybees is the theme of our unit and jungle safari is the theme of the parade - we have some bee costumes or wear black and yellow if you like - or put black or yellow duct tape around clothing to look like a bee!
We have signs that you can carry.  Or make one that could say - Label GMOs, Eat Organic, What’s In Your Food?, Save the Bees, Protect Your Kids from GMOs.
PLEASE RSVP TO MARILYN BY SEPT.4TH IF YOU ARE WALKING IN THE PARADE!
Line-up time  is 8:30AM. It is along Wise Road, between Roselle and Plum Grove Roads.  We are number 59.
Wise Road closes between Roselle and Plum Grove Roads at 9AM (9:30AMfor parade traffic). Summit Drive closes at 8AM.
Our unit will be just west of Plum Grove Road on Wise Road.

PARKING: Either be dropped off or park at any of the businesses around there.
