Dear Presidents of Countries That Import USA Crops and Consumer Groups,

The mothers and families of the USA need your international help. Trump has signed an executive order prompting USDA policy change to allow GMO companies to self-determine if their GMO innovations pose a "plant pest" risk and therefore need to be regulated by our USDA or not. No mention of harm to humans or life on the planet. These GMOs - herbicide tolerant, BT Toxin, gene drives and CRISPR - with thousands of genetic mutations, will be exported to your country and/or other crops will likely be contaminated by their pollen or seeds. Your people, our people, will be a part of a continued global experiment whose results are only known when our young are sick and dying...which is already happening.

Our administration is trusting the same people who brought us DDT, PCB's, Agent Orange, and Glyphosate to do the right thing. Our president is trusting the same people who have been shown to ghost write their own science, to determine if their products are safe. We trust that you see the potential catastrophe we face and how this is a global issue that requires a unified effort.

The executive order also allows US GMO producers to grow pharmaceutical GMOs out of doors. How long before the pollen and seeds spread to your imports and the environment? How long before the GMO test plots in your countries are planted with the same pharmaceutical GMOs?

Moms Across America asks for you, as leaders of your countries, and consumer groups with tremendous purchasing power, to prevent this from happening. What if officials from major importers of GMOs - like China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Europe told Trump that they would not import their grains if Trump did not require regulation? The risk of contamination is too great. We ask you to not buy USA crops unless the US administration regulates GMOs and keep pharmaceutical GMOs indoors.

We urge you to protect the health of your people. The USA spent 3.65 trillion on health care costs in 2018. We are certainly NOT the country to look to as an example of how we are feeding and caring for our people. We are being poisoned and we need your help now to stop it. Not just for USA citizens, but for all of us. The poison from the USA is poisoning the planet.
