Northbrook 4th of July Parade

Northbrook 4th of July Parade

We would love to have you join the fun of being in a parade and spreading the word to so many people!

You can hand out literature or organic candy provided to us by Trader Joes.

“Save the Bees” is our theme - so dress as a bee (we have some costumes) or in black and yellow, if possible.

Make a sign that says - Label GMOs, Eat Organic, What’s In Your Food?, Protect Your Kids From GMOs, Save the Bees, etc. Or carry one of our signs.

You might want to bring some water and a hat and a fanny pack or wagon to carry brochures and/or candy to be given out.

We will meet between 1 and 2PM (at the latest) at the line up on Cherry Lane between Pfingsten and Western. It is easier to find parking if you come early. Limited parking is available in the east lot at Gloria Dei Church (enter from Cherry). The Northbrook Library (or Northbrook Village Hall) is about a half way point and could be good for parking since it is closed that day.

The parade starts at 2:30PM

Allow time to park and find us in the line-up.  Our number is 15.

The march ends at the Northbrook Village Green, 1320 Shermer.

Bring friends and family - children are welcome and can bring bikes, wagons or strollers.

For more information, call Marilyn at 847 255-0134 (cell 847 962-7918)  or RSVP at meetup.com/illinois-right-to-know-GMO.

You won’t want to miss this fun start to your day and a great way to learn more about GMOs and help educate others.
