Rancho Cordova 4th of July Parade

Hi everyone!! Parade starts at 10 I'm hoping to get everyone there by 9-930 so we can all get acquainted and equipped with our signs and fliers!! The intersection is McGregor Dr. and Coloma Rd. THANK YOU for taking time and energy to march on this fantastic day! Before you march, take a moment to imagine a world when GMOs, glyphosate and toxins are eradicated from our food supply and environment. I work at a daycare for my gym and ended up having to pick up a shift at work tonight. I really, really needed to get some signs made for the parade sooooo I brought them with me and had some kids help out! It was super fun <3

Feel free to bring your own if you have one but I'm going to be making some signs for all of us tomorrow. I'd like some suggestions please! *family friendly* :) So far I'm going to do "Let be bee gmo free" "Bee organic" "Freedom to know if it's gmo" "Say no to GMOs"'

With my girl Meleya Platt-Walker at the Red White and Blue parade in Citrus Heights today!! What a fun way to reach so many people in a such a small amount of time!!! Next weekend, we get to do it all over again!!!

I just marched in the Citrus Heights red white and blue parade! We got to tons of people and I was actually shocked how many people this year (vs. last year) were sticking their hands out and WANTING a flier! They WANT to know about this stuff but they just don't know where to look. Can't wait to reach even more people next weekend with all of you!!

This event is creeping up on us!! I hope you all are as determined as I am to spread the word to thousands of people in a single parade! I can't do this alone so please join me and let's help get the word out!!

TOTALLY optional (obviously) but they are 100% certified organic cotton and are being sold at cost ($14 each) for the marchers of the parade!! I know I will be wearing my "GMO free mom" shirt and my daughter will be in her "GMO-free kid" shirt. It helps a little for people watching the parade to know exactly what we stand for. I've got 2,000 flyers on the way! A nice big banner and tons of buttons and stickers for the little ones! Only a few weeks away! Looking forward to it :)

So proud of my baby girl!! Tonight a girl at daycare gave her 2 dum dums (lollipops). I told her she couldn't have them but she could hold on to them as long as she would trade me when we got home. She held onto to them for almost 2 hours! That's gotta be torture for a 2 year old! When we got home she ran up and told daddy "mommy said I can have the red gmo free lollipop and I won't eat these ones!" And they traded.. <3 <3 <3

Just a reminder - you don't have to be a mom to march in this parade. Moms across America is simply the name of the non-profit organization that supplies the banners/fliers we will pass out!! Everyone is welcome. In fact, we NEED everyone there :)
