Our family friendly parade group will march for food freedom to choose including labels on GMOs, bans on pesticides and an organic future for our children. All are welcome in this family friendly parade.
The oldest and biggest parade in the Sacramento area, hosted by the Elk's Club. Wear a sun hat, and bring water and be prepared to walk down Mainstreet Carmichel on Fair Oaks Blvd from Marconi Ave to Bel Air Market/Elk's Club.
Bikes, skate boards, wagons, or car/truck are welcome.
Activities in Carmichael Park for kids afterwards. We'll be passing out flyers for Moms Across America, an inspiring community event. If you can't march, you can ride a car with our banner and share with others who need to ride.
Or stand on the sidelines with signs and MAA banners or signs in the shade, and cheer us on. The decorated bikes last year were outstanding!
Join us at 10 am.. parade steps off at 10:30 am... over before noon. It is simplest to drive in from the California Avenue side as traffic is blocked off as parade time nears....

Palm Avenue is the same as Marconi, they just change names at FO Blvd. (If you go 1 block toward the river away from Fair Oaks Bl, you will find Panama Street.) Turn left from Palm onto Panama Street and we will be parade group number 27 in this Division 2 parade staging area. Walk down Palm street to find us. Bikes, strollers, skateboards and even a decorated car can enter the parade.
Call me to find us. Jessica Denning 916 715-2731.
If you bring a decorated car, you could ride the route and allow folks who cannot walk to ride with you.
Then you could provide rides back to the start for folks who have not left their cars at the end at Bel Air Market at Fair Oaks blvd and Cypress. We’ll hand out flyers, and smiles.
The parade route is straight down Fair Oaks Blvd and is less than two miles long. You could also park in Elks parking lot at Cypress Avenue, just past Bel Air.
