Longview, WA MAAM/GMO Free Cowlitz County Go 4th Festival Parade!

So excited for this year's parade! While last year was truly amazing, I am looking forward to having more people on board to help raise awareness about the dangers of GMOs and the impact on us and the environment!! This year's Go 4th Festival's theme is, "Proud To Be An American!"

I am PROUD to be an American and PROUD to be GMO FREE!

Like last year we are going to be having a truck pulling a small float. This float won't be able to hold anyone though so bring your walking shoes or hitch a ride in the back of the truck!

I am taking donations to purchase a big order of Yummy Earth organic suckers to hand out again! I will also be having brochures and t-shirts made again so that we can share the knowledge with everyone!

This is a kid friendly event so please have appropriate signs and costumes (encouraged)! Try to stick to a red, white, and blue theme though!

We will be meeting at the Bank of America located at Commerce Ave & Vandercook Way on July 4th! (time is still to be determined!)

LAST BIT OF INFO FOR PARADE: Alright! Tomorrow is the day! I will be arriving at 9:00am at the Bank of America on the corner of Vandercook Way and Commerce Ave. We will be decorating the rest of the truck and trailer as well as wagons in red, white, and blue! If you would like to arrive then to help that would be great! We have LOTS of stuff to pass out this year! Buttons, stickers, brochures, and SUCKERS! If you can, bring a small bucket or bag if you would like to help pass things out. I think Linda Duckworth is bringing a few extra bags? Also we will need either 3-4 kids or a few adults to carry our banner during the parade. If we can't find a small group we will have to find a way to strap it to the truck/trailer! Our number for the parade is 68, which means we don't line up until 9:45. If you are arriving at 9:45 you might need to walk to find us, but we shouldn't be too far because we are basically in the same spot as last year. If you have ANY questions please do not hesitate to call or text me at 360-431-1186. I am making a few signs tonight but not many due to so many signs being donated from the last march. If you do not have a sign and are worried about not having one please get a hold of me! Really looking forward to this parade! Last year parents stepped forward to get more information and kids loved the suckers! United WE Stand For a Right to Know GMO! United WE Stand for Clean Sustainable Food! Last minute parade meeting Wednesday @ 6:00 @ Masthead in Longview! Who can be there? This is just going over the basics of the parade, i.e what we still need to do, song or no song, looking over parade materials from parade pack, and anything else! Please comment below if you would like to go as I will have to tell Masthead how many people! Thanks!
