Glyphosate Free - Moms Across America

Glyphosate Free Shopping

It used to be enough to just be concerned about glyphosate and GMOs in our food. But the fact is today there are hundreds of other unhealthful pesticides that the chemical companies have developed and are being used on our food. At Moms Across America, we have always insisted on total transparency and have been a pioneer in eliminating toxins from the food supply, initiating the very first glyphosate testing project in America in 2013. One of our major goals is having more glyphosate-free products that you can trust.

We support certifications such as Glyphosate Residue-Free Certified, USDA Organic, and the others listed below as tools that help people to avoid glyphosate - but we think you deserve more. You want to buy the most healthy food available for your family. We know that you want to take a stand with your purchasing dollars by only purchasing foods that are healthy for people, the planet, and represent ethical business practices. We heard you, and we have responded with the Moms Across America Gold Standard.

With the MAA Gold Standard, we are supplementing already proven certifications to create an exceptional level of verification for components such as ingredient transparency, fair wages, biodegradability of packaging, and more. From seed to supermarket we’re forging a new standard for a healthy planet. That’s why Moms Across America created the utmost level of verification with the multi-tiered Gold Standard.

Gold Standard brands are working towards or have achieved the most stringent standards available today so you can trust their products and company practices. MAA Gold Standard companies have achieved superior levels of organic practices and eco-friendly procedures so that you can trust the products they provide. We are not trying to circumvent current certification processes. We recognize the value of these organizations and their methodologies - we just want to do more.

So when you shop look for the certifications below, read the labels, but keep your eyes open for the Gold. Tell your favorite brands you insist on the MAA Gold Standard. Ask them to take our survey to see if they qualify. Together we can shift the marketplace for a healthier future for us all.

I just discovered our rental management company sprays RoundUp right next to our doorsteps (to kill weeds), and right where my kids play outside in the dirt. I’m very concerned. I want to write to the management company asking them to stop spraying – what information/links can I include to make it a powerful letter? Also, where can I get more info about how long RoundUp stays in the soil and how far does it spread from where it was sprayed? I’m now concerned to let my kids go play outside by our home.

Barb – unfortunately, most food, even organic certified, has some trace of glyphosate because of drift and runoff. That’s why we are pushing for a complete ban of the stuff and encouraging everyone to demand cleaner food. In the meantime, you can protect yourself by using products like Restore, which the negate effects of glyphosate on your body.

Is there any rice based anything that is glyphosate free? from what I have gleaned from sites is that ALL rice is contaminated. Especially those used in gluten free concoctions/flours, etc. Lundberg farms good? Is it just all brown? Mixed with whatever. So hard to determine. thanks.

I pray that people wake up and start boycotting this stuff and growing their own food. There is a dramatic increase in autoimmune disorders, cancers, allergies, inflammatory responses, and etc. Too many people are sick and dying.

Judy – there are several things Moms Across America offers that you can use. First, check out our Health Solutions Store for products such as Restore and Primary Detox that can help protect you and your family. Second, you can print out or email this page to your neighbors and ask them to stop spraying. Our store also has flyers for exactly this purpose. As far as organic food, you will have to rely upon deliveries of organic food and your best bet there is USDA Organic Certified. Hope this helps!

All around us, on all four sides are farmers who spray glyphosate on their crops to dry them out to expedite harvesting. The farmers are not likely to change the way they do things. I was wondering if there really is any benefit to organically grow food if the glyphosate is swept up with the wind and carried to our area?
