BGB was deployed amid the announcement of complete shutdown of intern doctors of Dhaka Medical on Sunday (September 1). Later they gave an ultimatum to arrest the responsible within 24 hours. However, before 24 hours have passed, the doctors of the hospital are observing an unannounced strike from Sunday morning. Medical services of all wards including the emergency department, outpatient department of the hospital are closed.
