Volunteer and join us to raise awareness about GMOs at a Moms Across America and Label GMOs booth (California State Grange is sponsor) at San Marcos Spring Festival. Our community needs to be informed of the health/environmental risks/dangers if they are to vote with their wallet (buying non-GMO and organic), vote with their ballot, and vote with their investments.
Where: 355 Via Vera Cruz, San Marcos, CA 92078.
When: 6am - 6pm.
To signup for a volunteer shift, go here:
When you signup, you can mention in your Comment if you can only be there for part of your shift.
If you signup to volunteer, then you will be sent booth info/location closer to the event date once we know details.
Even if you are not knowledgeable enough to answer questions, you can help by giving away flyers and gathering signatures on petitions and finding if anyone is passionate about the topic and wants to help in the future, and you can learn more by listening to a more knowledgeable volunteer.
Some people believe GMOs should be banned, not labeled. Even if you believe that GMOs should be banned rather than labeled, you can still help by raising awareness of the health/environmental risks/dangers of GMOs and glyphosate, because it will take the awareness of huge numbers of our fellow citizens to make any change.
