Yesterday afternoon Politico reported that the Senate Agriculture Committee has finally scheduled a hearing less than three weeks away — on Wed. Oct 21st, with the purpose being to try and minimize the serious risks and potential harms of genetic engineering and to grease the wheels to pass a Senate version of the Dark Act, H.R. 1599, which the House passed in July and outlaws states' rights to label GMOs.

We can't let this happen!

Call your Senator at 202-224-3121 and tell them that we want to know what is in the food we are feeding our families and they must STAND with the American people and vote against the DARK act and say yes to SB 511, which would require mandatory labeling of GMOs.
