4th of July Parade Brighton - Moms Across America March
We the people of Brighton and surrounding areas are going to march for FOOD FREEDOM and our RIGHT TO KNOW on the 4th!
We will be walking from Church Street to Brighton High School (down Main Street and then south on 7th street). Shuttles will be available at the High School to return us to BECC. Anyone who wishes to walk, the staging for the parade begins at the BECC (old Scranton School) at 9:30AM. Our place in the parade is number 40, see the map for details.
The Parade will start at 10:00AM SHARP!
Please bring signs and fliers to pass out to raise awareness, but don't worry if you can't! Your presence will be enough. No objects may be thrown (like candy), but we can walk along the curb to distribute materials.
Keep in mind that many people still have no idea what a GMO is...We must start with each person and change the world one mind at a time!
This is a family event, so there will be children, elderly and disabled both participating and in attendance.
Please bring strollers/bikes/wagons for the kids and signs for the adults!
"The Brighton Independence Day Parade" is sponsored by Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club. It has dozens of entries including marching bands, floats, classic cars and more.
See you on the 4th!
If we have enough participants, I will host a Sign Making Party for those who wish to come!
