Asheville, N.C. – Oct. 28, 2025 – Moms Across America, one of the leading MAHA organizations dedicated to healthy food and families, today released new test results revealing dangerously high and illegal levels of toxic and heavy metals—including aluminum, arsenic, lead, and cadmium—in popular children’s cereals from the U.S., U.K., France, and Germany.

These findings come just days after the launch of the Make Europe Healthy Again (MEHA) initiative, which joins forces with the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement to address health crises on both sides of the Atlantic.

“The aluminum and heavy metal levels Moms Across America and others are finding in foods, especially in the USA, should be a five-alarm siren blaring from international regulatory agencies—not from a group of moms,” said Moms Across America Founding Executive Director Zen Honeycutt. “We cannot MAHA or MEHA without urgent monitoring and reduction of heavy metals in our foods.”

Key Findings

Independent lab analysis compared cereals from the U.S., U.K., France, and Germany. MAA’s top three concerns were all from cereals from the USA, a $13.5 billion market.

  • U.S. cereals contained 100% higher arsenic and 31% higher aluminum than the average levels found in the U.K., France, and Germany combined.
  • Kellogg’s Rice Krispies (USA), single 30-gram serving, would expose a 45-pound child to 1,240% more arsenic than the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA) maximum safe level for children.
  • Kashi Organic Cinnamon Harvest (USA) single serving would expose a 45-pound child to approximately 7.5% more aluminum than the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA) maximum weekly safety limit.
  • Germany’s Classic Lucky Rings showed 2,400% higher aluminum than the global average across all cereals tested. EU regulations require a recall for illegal levels above safety standards, the USA does not.

Where Are These Contaminants Coming From?

Moms Across America calls for an urgent investigation into potential sources of aluminum and other heavy metals, including those from industrial agriculture and fertilizers, factory and processing contamination, aerial spraying (geoengineering), and atmospheric fallout and additives such as anti-caking agents in flour.

Aluminum exposure has been strongly linked to autism, Alzheimer’s disease, and neurological harm, especially in developing children. Arsenic and other heavy metals are strongly connected to cancer, reproductive issues, and many health issues.

Moms Across America Calls for Action

To Food Manufacturers: Pull these unsafe foods from the shelves! Test all ingredient batches and final products for heavy metals and refuse to source contaminated materials.

To Governments and Regulators: Enforce recalls and strict, transparent limits on heavy metals in children’s foods, require testing for aluminum, lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury, and investigate potential sources of environmental and agricultural contamination.

To Families and Consumers: Choose certified organic and regenerative whole, local foods whenever possible. Sign Moms Across America’s letter to the FDA urging comprehensive testing for heavy metals, mycotoxins, and pesticides.

“We can make America—and Europe—healthy again,” said Honeycutt. “If we support regenerative, organic farming, and stop the spraying of glyphosate as a drying agent, our children could see 80% less exposure to toxins within one growing season. The time for courage and common sense is now.”

Moms Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate and empower mothers and others with actions and solutions to create healthy communities.
