Plan: Kathryn Ideker (858) 334-3073 and Dan (858-775-0163) will be at Belmont Park next to the roller coaster (look for banner or sign) 9am-10am to help anyone (children or adults) who wants free materials to create a sign (posterboards, crayons, markers) and then Mica will lead the walk at 10am.

There should be local July 4th parades in Coronado, Scripps Ranch, and Rancho Bernardo.

Think you get a larger audience if set up through a community July 4th parade, but all marches are of course helpful! I travel full-time with my family teaching on GMOs so not from this area, but staying near here so wanted to connect. If anyone local knows of a July 4th parade to sign up with that would be great to coordinate.

we will find funding to provide free materials ( posterboards and markers) for anyone who wants to make a sign for the walk. Mica, will the walking start promptly at 10 am? Or do you want a certain amount of time for people to collect? Any sign making needs to be done before we start walking so we can bring sign making material to the location 1 hour earlier.

Yes i plan on walking down to p.b. and then back to the mission beach jetty and then come back to the roller coaster maybe walk that route twice idk what do you think?
