Food Day, "Hidden Dangers" showing and non GMO Potluck

* Join us for a GMO Free Potluck at 5 - 5:30 pm start 

* Followed by showings of "Hidden Dangers in Kids Meals" & an abridged version of "Genetic Roulette." (Starting around 6:30) Then a talk (around 7:30-8) about GMOs in our markets, homes and schools! 

* 8-8:15 wrap up chat, at the same time please help cleaning up, especially if we eat inside, we can't be charged for cleaning up food, gotta do it ourselves! 8:30 Library closes!

* In recognition of "FOOD DAY!" And "World Food Day!"  For greater food education in schools, communities, and to keep the art of cooking alive! 

* Proposal to Amherst School Systems:
A) Offer at least one non-GMO lunch / breakfast option in school meals, for those with sensitivities or family preference.
B) Consider going non GMO completely in all school meals, snacks, vending machines, etc.
