March Against Monsanto - Olympia, WA

JOIN us in Olympia, WA, for the 4th Annual GLOBAL #MarchAgainstMonsanto
This is a family-friendly event. Rain or shine. Gather at 11:00am on the front lawn of the State Capitol Campus off Capitol Way (between 11th & 14th Sts.), as we've done in the past. Bring signs and wear costumes (e.g., bees, butterflies, flowers, animals from Olympia's April 23 Procession of the Species, etc.). We will rally and share information related to GMOs and toxic chemicals used in agriculture, and then we will march down Capitol Way from the Capitol to the Olympia Farmer's Market and back.
Note: If anyone is unable to walk the full route, you can take the free Dash shuttle back to the Capitol.

Parking/Transportation: Parking on the Capitol Campus and metered street parking in downtown Olympia (all around the Capitol campus) are free on Saturdays.  The FREE Intercity Transit DASH Shuttle runs up and down Capitol Way on Saturdays: http://www.intercitytransit.com/traveloptions/dash/pages/default.aspx
