Genetic engineering artificially combines genes from different species and forcibly inserts them into unknown and random locations on the host genome. This procedure disrupts the precise orchestration of thousands of genes that has evolved over millennia in the normal plant's genome. This is highly mutagenic and causing illness, neurological disorders, allergies, cancer etc. Monsanto is adding poisons to our food while big agribusiness supports this and we have to get back to clean and healthy food. We can do this by growing our own food using heirloom seeds, supporting local farmers, working with grassroots efforts to label/ban GMO's.
